Sounds intriguing don't it? Hehe, I know.
I'm going to do some back story a little bit so prepare for a historical journey.
See the thing is that in Western society, black people have been conditioned into believing that the courting process goes a certain way, a way that is essentially modeled after white standards. Therefore. because our selection process is modified in order for us to feel as if we are operating on the same playing field when in fact we are not.

Black relationships usually suffer from problems that, for the most part, are confusing to us. We end up arguing and fighting for no apparent reason and the times when the reasons are valid they still are about issues that should not affect our livelihood.
White psychosis has diffused its way into our psyche and we in turn begin to suffer from white psychosis. We are told that there is only one (1) psychology and one way that the mind can be observed. This is not true. Psychology was created by Europeans to learn and observe the European mind and European behavior. The standards of which that are applied to using psychology as a tool to diagnose black problems is the reason why many psychologists, psychoanalysts, therapists and the like by their analytical, fragmented way of thinking believe that black people are psychologically ill. We are ill, but not with an illness of our own making. It is the modeling after the master (white man) to be equal with him and share his problems so that he would accept us.
This is a slave mindset.

Ever since the enslavement of Africans in America, there have been many instances where the tactic for gaining acceptance to stop the physical and emotional trauma needed to be implemented. African slave women would straighten their hair with a heated fork in order to gain the slave master's acceptance and African male slaves would do the same. The reason why "Beauty Salons" and "Barber Shops" were created were for just that cause. Since mulattoes had naturally "good hair" and lighter skin than the typical dark-skinned African, they were guaranteed better treatment and even survival. So the tactic needed to be added, they needed to alter themselves to survive.
The white man beat his women. He had sex with them for leisure instead of reproduction. He did not know of the spiritualistic properties of sexual intercourse. And many African slave women were sexually involved with white men and they treated them like they would their white women. The black woman became sexualized and believed that the treatment she received from the powerful slave master was the standard for her relaitionships. The African slave males saw this and tried to compete with the white man. Since his black woman seemed to discredit his importance and sexuality, he felt the urge the to dress like the white man and court like the white man and considering the conditioning of the black woman, it worked out perfectly.

See the black male had been demasculinized in front of his women and children so they were seemingly powerless. Black women wre raped in front of tied up black men and whipped whilst the raping took place, so what could the black man do to save his women? Not a thing.
What other model have black couples had that showed them what a black relationship is like without white problems?
Think of at least 5.
I didn't come up with any either.
This is what you need to understand, yes relationships have their problems but why are these problems based off of the standards of another race? Standards of which we were never meant to live up to?
More on this later...
Peace
